What we’re trying to do

Most schools already run thoughtful MTSS programs — frameworks documented, screenings scheduled, interventions designed by educators who know what works. What’s missing today is the software layer that connects all of it in real time, so the people doing the work aren’t also stitching together the data after hours.

OneTeam consolidates the four pieces — academic performance, attendance, intervention progress, and family communication — into one mobile-first app. The goal is for the data MTSS depends on to get collected as a side effect of teachers doing their normal work, instead of as an additional logging step.

What we believe

1. Teachers are not data-entry clerks.
If logging a check-in takes more than 30 seconds, it won’t happen consistently. We design every interaction around “under 30 seconds, on a phone, between bells.”
2. Student data is borrowed, not collected.
Schools loan us data so we can do a specific job for them — supporting MTSS decisions. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, train AI on it, or hold onto it after the relationship ends. The full commitments are on /commitments.
3. Families belong inside the loop.
Parents shouldn’t hear about their child’s tier-2 intervention three weeks after it started. Microsoft Teams adaptive cards keep families current in real time, without adding a new app for them to install.
4. Compliance is a feature, not a checkbox.
FERPA, COPPA, state privacy laws, accessibility standards — these aren’t obstacles we work around. They’re part of the product surface. Our public DPA, Parents’ Bill of Rights, and Security overview are how we show our work.

Why “Foxtide”?

Foxtide is the parent company; OneTeam is its first product. Foxtide builds tools where the constraint isn’t the technology — it’s the human workflow the technology has to fit into. Education is the first vertical because the gap between what schools want to track and what they can realistically track is enormous, and the cost of that gap falls hardest on the kids who most need consistent support.
